It has high heat resistance of 500°C and above, dielectric strength of about 17 kV/mm and good mechanical properties. It is used as the base material for mica rolls, tapes and rigid mica plate.
Phlogopite mica paper is available in several mass-per-unit-area grades, from thin to thick. Phlogopite Mica Paper is supplied to the grade you need, bonded and processed further into tapes, rolls and plates, or used directly for insulation. Phlogopite Mica Paper is used as a base material for mica insulating materials, reinforced with glass cloth or film and bonded with silicone resin, and for direct insulation in heating and electrical equipment.
